Just a quick one today: a beautiful black and white clip of the queen, Samia Gamal. To me, her movements here look much softer and slower than in some of her other clips and I really like this one.
Samia Gamal dances in a scene from the 1947 film ‘Habib Al Omr’ (Love of My Life حبيب العمر) which starred Farid al Atrash, Hassan Fayek, Lola Sedky and a very young Ismail Yassin who plays the kanoon player in the band.
